Collection Terre is a reinvention of traditional terracotta floors. The word terracotta means “baked earth” and it comes from the Latin words terra cocta that refers to the clay-based earthenware used in the past to create decorative elements as well as to use as floor tiles. The aim of this new collection was to break the concept of the typical square shaped terracotta floor by creating an elegant rectangular format – 25x100cm – in porcelain.
The multiple and rich chromatic variation of the three different tonalities of this modern collection will provide a feeling of warmth, ease and elegance in addition to an undisputed unique touch that will ensure creative freedom to the most demanding individuals. The collection is also complemented with an antislip finish in the Rosso tone that will enable its application in public spaces and outdoor areas with soft, enveloping tones with a current rustic look.
