Sfumato reinterprets the marble effect from a more dynamic and contemporary perspective. Its surface appears to be constructed from small fragments of marble that follow one another and interlock, creating a composition that is visually reminiscent of a multi-format design. The design comes into its own when the pieces are viewed together, transforming into a continuous surface, rich in nuances and with an ever-changing appearance.
Available in Grey and Salmon, Sfumato combines elegant shades with a pattern inspired by the fragmentation of stone. The different pieces come together to form a visual composition in which the pattern is not perceived as a conventional repetition, but rather as a set of elements that interact with one another. An interpretation of marble designed to bring movement and character to surfaces with a striking presence.
Each colour in the Sfumato range features 12 different faces, designed to minimise graphic repetition and achieve more natural and dynamic surfaces. By combining the different pieces, the overall effect gains depth and variation, causing the design to evolve as one moves across the surface.
The 50x100 cm format enhances this sense of a multi-format composition and allows for the creation of wall and floor coverings with a strong sense of visual continuity.
Manoa is manufactured from 7 mm-thick white body, a solution that combines lightness and ease of handling with the strength and stability required of a ceramic wall tile. Its rectified finish allows for more precise installations and visually narrower joints, enhancing the sense of surface continuity and the delicacy of its micro-relief.
Containing 60 per cent recycled materials, Manoa also adds a more sustainable dimension to its aesthetic appeal. The collection can be combined with the Ciment Ivory and Ciment Grey floor tiles, creating balanced ensembles in which the handcrafted texture of the wall complements cement-inspired surfaces.
