Manoa captures the essence of hand-moulded clay in a ceramic surface that exudes a serene, contemporary feel. Its design is built up from small linear sequences and repetitive patterns that create a delicate micro-texture, almost imperceptible at first glance, yet capable of transforming the surface when light falls upon it.
The result is a wall covering with a distinctly minimalist character, reminiscent of the aesthetic of single-colour surfaces. White, Beige and Blue form a soft, balanced palette in which the tones are deliberately subdued, allowing the shadows created by the relief to lend depth and movement. The 30x100 cm format gives Manoa a particularly versatile and contemporary feel. Its elongated proportions allow for the creation of continuous, elegant compositions, making it ideal for use on large surfaces as well as for combining with various architectural and interior design elements.
The collection includes two special versions, Manoa Silver and Manoa Gold, which reproduce the same micro-texture in metallic finishes. The repetitive relief takes on a new dimension here as it reflects the light, introducing subtle glints that lend a more sophisticated and luxurious touch without losing the collection’s minimalist essence.
Manoa is manufactured from 7 mm-thick white body, a solution that combines lightness and ease of handling with the strength and stability required of a ceramic wall tile. Its rectified finish allows for more precise installations and visually narrower joints, enhancing the sense of surface continuity and the delicacy of its micro-relief.
Containing 60 per cent recycled materials, Manoa also adds a more sustainable dimension to its aesthetic appeal. The collection can be combined with the Ciment Ivory and Ciment Grey floor tiles, creating balanced ensembles in which the handcrafted texture of the wall complements cement-inspired surfaces.
